Snoopy shivers on his doghouse and thinks, "Boy I'll be glad to see the sun come up . . ."<BR><BR> Snoopy thinks, "I'll never make it through the winter at this rate!"<BR><BR> Snoopy lies on his doghouse looking at Charlie Brown and Linus. Charlie Brown says, "I'll bet it was cold out here last night, wasn't it, Snoopy?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown says to Linus, "Of course, I can't help it if he insists on sleeping outside, but I wish there were some way I could help to make him more warm and comfortable . . ."<BR><BR> Linus says, "How about getting him some straw? Dogs like to sleep in straw . . ."<BR><BR> Linus and Charlie Brown carry armfuls of straw. Charlie Brown says, "Sometimes you're so smart, Linus, it's frightening!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown says, "I think he appreciated it, don't you?" Linus says, "One thing for sure . . . He'll be the warmest dog in town . . ."<BR><BR> Snoopy lies on his doghouse on top of a nest of straw and thinks, "I'm warm all right, but I feel like a stupid bird!"<BR><BR>

Tried that once with our dogs. I put a bunch of straw in their house. Came out the next day, and all the straw was on the ground. Never did that again.

Now Charlie Brown is going to have to pre-chew all of Snoopy’s food and regurgitate it for him.
