Still…it’s not like Shauna hadn’t been warned about one day facing trouble going down that shortcut. She knew the dangers, but chose to face them anyway. And today, there were consequences to that.
Fortunately, none so serious that they can’t be resolved later on.
So there I am, reading “Death Machine”, when I come across a short story entitled “NOTHING”.
So I look to the left to see the drawing/artwork front panel for the story, blink my eyes in surprise, and say to myself, “Hey, that was drawn by John Allison!”
I flip to the front to see who the author and artist were, and sure enough, John was the artist!
It was a drawing of a secluded cabin with an older man siting down on an outside bench and smoking a pipe, and a girl standing next to him that I would say is an early take on Lottie.
