Are things as they appear? Or is Blossom in control and out to use Lem to get revenge on Shauna for “stealing” Corky?

Blossom already pointed out to Shauna that life was better for the D&D kids now that everyone else was ignoring them, due to Lem’s “hypnosis”. So they already have a motive for thwarting Shauna’s scheme, and now it’s even stronger if they perceive that Shauna is trying to break the group up by becoming Corky’s girlfriend.

GASP! The horrible betrayal! Even if, actually, Blossom was never Shauna’s friend this is too much!

You know, I don’t know why Shauna’s so surprised Blossom has turned on her like this—Blossom had made it abundantly clear from the start that she didn’t care for Shauna nor what she was doing.

In fact, the sad part of all this is that Blossom is right on a couple of points her, criticizing Shauna the way she is. This isn’t the right answer towards fixing it, though, and Blossom is, in a way, making the same mistake Shauna did, trying to selfishly manipulate things to her favor.
