Another case where the remaster combined two previous separate strips. Not a biggie, since the strips need to fit a standard page size, although the jump from Jessica in Jack’s room to Jack giving Jessica the newsletter in her room is a bit more jarring than is usual for panel changes in single strips.
Luckily, Colm’s DVD was from Blockbuster, and this strip was from 2012, at which point BB was already in its death spiral. Colm has yet to watch it even today. (Ironically, the DVD was for the 1984 Drew Barrymore film “Firestarter”.) There’s also a strong possibility I’m just making this up as I go.

“Your ex-girlfriend’s friend…”
“Shauna and Mildred aren’t friends, they’re just both friends with Charlotte.”
“Your ex-girlfriend’s friend’s friend Mildred…”
“What about her?”
“I forget.”
I’ve now written “friend” so many times that it’s stopped looking like a real word.

Jessica, I’m pretty sure that was an important news to say.

Yeah, that sounds like Colm, renting a DVD and then never actually getting around to watching it.

no sweat, most of us are veteran comic readers, we put up w/ back flashes and alternate time tracks. Continuity is easy.
