This strip may have inspired the sequence in âItâs the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brownâ wear Snoopy dances with the bunnies. According to Charles Schulz, those bunnies were none other than the Bunny-Wunnies, the characters from Snoopyâs favorite childrenâs book series.

Not a big fan of these âHappiness isâ asides in Schulzâs Sunday strips. They seem awkwardly immediate and can spoil an otherwise simple and satisfying moment by pointing out just how simple and satisfying it is.
