I love the way they laugh! There’s a couple in the fallow paddies in front of my house and it is fun to watch them in the twilight during the monsoon, as they hunt the mud crabs and frolic with each other!
My least favorite: the mourning dove. Some symbol of peace we came up with. I’ve seen them peck each other bloody over who is allowed to drink from a particular puddle.
Love foxes, we had a couple frolicking around in our yard on January 16, 2019, and next we had 4 kits in the neighborhood. They were a pleasure to watch last year, and we also got a local professor who studies wildlife out by to take pictures. We have got some beautiful shots of our foxes. Sadly we haven’t seen them this year, and we are in the southwest burbs of Chicago, so it’s not like we are out in wide open country.

Oh, to soon be able to take walks outside and not have to worry about any restrictions on them!

One of the best foxes ever was the one in the film “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe”. . .

I’ve never seen a fox, but I have seen a coyote in my driveway in the city of Buffalo.
