Be lonesome, and you will be free

Gotta say, Sunday strips usually rise above the fray. I like the hopefulness expressed here.

The covid Lockdown has been declared “over” by the anti-Fa rioters destroying Amercan cities.

It is a stark contrast between real protestors and radical revolutionaries seeking to destroy America. On one side are real, peaceful protestors who hold signs sincerely calling for justice and those armed and completely peaceful citizens calling for an end to the Covid lockdowns. On the other are Rioters who pre-place bricks, loot businesses, burn buildings, torch police cruisers, slit throats of officers. These disgusting people are paid professionals seeking to end our country by trading off tragedies. We can see that when curfews and arrests are applied (Atlanta sat night 5/30), peace is restored. When not, destruction ensues (Raleigh, Philly, LA).

Now you see why the second Amendment exists. To protect the natural right of sef defense against tyrannical government polices that killed people like Ahmad Arbery, George Floyd and Breonna Taylor and from civil unrest we see raging through our streets.

Wake up,people, the government and radicals are both at the core of these problems. A government that actively infringes on rights and also kills its citizens and local government thath REFUSE to stop rioters, giving them a “light touch” and room to burn.

Unite around love, freedom and governments that serve only with the consent of the governed.

It’s still too soon to say who is carrying out the property destruction…

(Four are from out of state and two did not have cities of residence listed.)

However, a civil arrest list provided by the public information officer of the St. Paul Police Department shows 12 of the 18 people arrested from Thursday through 6 a.m. Saturday were from Minnesota.

Five of them are from St. Paul, three are from Woodbury (part of the Twin Cities metropolitan area), two are from Minneapolis, one is from Mankato and one is from St. Louis Park.

Four are from out of state and two did not have cities of residence listed.

Minneapolis Mayor Asks Rioters To Wear Face Masks And Practice Social Distancing As City BURNS

Minneapolis, Minnesota Mayor Jacob Frey and other city officials released a statement on Thursday condemning the violence in the city but urging rioters to wear masks and practice social distancing.

“While acknowledging the tremendous pain and trauma in Minneapolis, City leaders condemned the violence and widespread damage that has occurred in the city following the protests sparked by the death of George Floyd while in the custody of Minneapolis Police in south Minneapolis on May 25,” the statement said.

The press release ends by asking the people who are currently burning down the city and destroying and looting local businesses to wear face masks.

“The City encourages everyone to exercise caution to stay safe while participating in demonstrations, including wearing masks and physical distancing as much as possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The City has made hundreds of masks available to protesters this week,” the statement said.

    (The Borowitz Report)

Reacting to a bizarre development that no one saw coming, Americans this week have been dumbfounded by the unfathomable spectacle of Twitter’s senior management demonstrating responsibility.

In interviews across the country, people from all walks of life expressed shock and disbelief that Twitter executives appeared to recognize that their social-media platform was a potentially destructive entity that required a modicum of oversight from those supposedly running it.

“At first, when I saw that they were fact-checking tweets, I thought it was some kind of fluke,” Carol Foyler, a Twitter user from Topeka, said. “But then when they started hiding tweets for glorifying violence, I was, like, O.K., this is getting weird.”

“It almost seems like Twitter has been taken over by someone like Bill Gates or George Soros,” Harland Dorrinson, a user from Phoenix, said. “I would tweet something about that, but I’m afraid they might fact-check it.”

Tracy Klugian, a securities analyst who has been on Twitter since its inception, expressed concern that, by exhibiting even modest signs of adult responsibility, the company is “heading down a slippery slope.”

“Today it’s falsehoods and incitements to violence, but what will it be tomorrow?” he said. “Will Twitter start policing racists, misogynists, and Nazis? Their entire business model is at risk.”

Far-right extremists are showing up, with guns, to the protests against police brutality that have exploded across the country.

Others are egging on the violence from behind their computers, urging followers to carry out acts of violence against black protesters with the goal of sparking a “race war.”

While some Boogaloo Bois say they’re just libertarians, others will, on occasion, veer into racism — and make no secret of their desire for violence.

In addition to their physical presence at the protests, the #boogaloo hashtag on social media has been flooded with memes in the last couple days egging on violence, and talking about how they hope this is the beginning of a civil war.
