We have friends that since March have not ventured out side. Groceries, mail, and other deliveries set for several hours before they put them away. Neither have underlying condition other than being in their 60’s. In my opinion this is borderline psychosis and not just caution. Any opinions out there?
I have been staying at home for a long time before the virus struck due to my compromised immune system: I have an incurable form of cancer for which I am either undergoing Chemo or Radiation for many years. So, I do not understand the constant whining and moaning by folks having to take sensible precautions for a limited period of time. This isn’t the forever for most folks, but it is the forever for me. My friends comment that I never complain. Why should I moan & groan? It is what it is and you get on with life as it is.
I have read Betty for years but never wrote a comment until now. As an essential worker, in the ER (I actually read this in between patients) and in teaching, I would like to thank you and all of the cartoonists who took part in the National Cartoonists Society challenge to use the symbols in their comics today (well, yesterday, since I’m writing this on Monday).

Second wave? We never got through the first one, so the resurgence is starting from a much higher base than projected.

The phrase, ‘Ah, those were the good ol’ days, huh?’ seems appropriate.
