It really isnāt a good show. I canāt understand how itās so popular. Good shows like Firefly and Dollhouse canāt get resigned for new seasons, but tihs like āTwo and a Half menā is on for yearsā¦
My mom told me a couple of years ago that she liked it. I was in shockāmy mom, who says āOh, swear word!ā when sheās upset about something and who firmly believes that all four of us kids think we were immaculate conception babies. I tried watching it once after that, but didnāt make it through the episode.
Eldo, it literally means āwhat was to be demonstratedā - basically, itās a fancy way of saying āthatās thatā. Itās often found in logic, where itās usually abbreviated āQ.E.D.ā
However, to a physicist, āQ.E.D.ā means Quantum Electro Dynamics, which is another kettle of quarks.
Iāve watched it. Itās vulgar, full of āadultā humor and really does demonstrate Charlie Sheenās actual lifestyle. I guess I watch it to see how far a show can actually go without the FCC stepping in to ban it. Pretty low. The FCC has lowered itās standard as time goes onā¦.
I admit to watching TV in almost all my waking hours, but there are CHOICES. I have never watched Charlie Sheen or even the Jersey Shore, though I admit to a few guilty items (some real housewives, Wendy and TMZ) but only in between the shows that I like best Project Runway, Top Chef, Next Food Network Star etc. Living alone has itās benefits and pitfalls.
The only network shows I regularly watch are Criminal Minds and The Mentalist.
From Starlilies, I am pleased that I never watched it. Although I thought it silly that declotage needed to be filled and Jeanne (Dream of) had to have her navel covered, we have gone WAY too far in the other direction!

You canāt script comedy, it has to just happen.
Iāve not seen this sitcom, but the whole idea behind it doesnāt sound the least bit amusing. Her Maj is right.

Their going have to re-do bit of that show to make Victoria fit in.

Itās not that it is funny, itās that Charlie Sheen plays himself.

I donāt understand how it can be so popular. I canāt find a single person who will admit to watching it.

Profoundly unfunny show which is lapped up by people of questionable intelligence.

So glad Iāve never seen 2 1/2 Men and have no intention of ever doing so.

I think a better translation of Q.E.D. would be āwhich is the point I was trying to proveāā¦ or āmakeā in this case.

And the phrase I would still find apt is De Gustibus Non Disputandum Est, which has served me in other things as well.

Except for the logo, thatās a custom script cover page. The episode title of Her Majās first script is āLike a monkey on a cupcake.ā
