@ Number Three Today’s strip IS funny our HERO Mr Andrew Capp misses the good old days when he was in the army and paraded through the town, but being in an identity parade is a whole different story :o) my avatar is a photo of Mr Bean happy that things have worked out well with Connie and me , yesterday was just a storm in a teacup ;o) how was your day out in the sun? our day should be busy but calm I hope except that I can’t get into the Zits Seattle pi site , stay safe and thanks for caring pal
My day out in the sun was lovely. However it was a bit too warm for my liking. Never really liked the heat. I kept hydrated though.
Mr Bean has a girlfriend in a few episodes. She leaves him for another man when they both go to a magic show and a dance. Not sure if you’ve seen that episode. If you want, I could give you the link.
Take care and stay well, pal. You will always have your friends here.
Thank you both so much for yesterday. Cactus Jack’s comment has gone now because I flagged it. What a prick he is. I’m not ashamed of how I look, and I couldn’t care less if nobody is interested in me. It’s not true anyway because my guy friend of 7 years has admitted he has been in love with me since 2018. Not just word of mouth either, I’ve seen the “signs” for myself. He has asked me many times if I would like to give it a go with him. As much as I like him too, I’ve said no because I’m happy the way I am and don’t feel I need to explain my reasons to anyone.
Hope y’all having a great day. Thank you so much again.
When I graduated from High School, it was suggested that I join the Army. I decided against it, as I felt the strictness and rigidness of military life would not be suitable for me. (Not to mention the fact that I could have gotten killed.) Thankfully, I’ve never been in an identity parade (police lineup) either.
I recall reading that in the UK, at least at one time, non suspects would be paid a nominal fee for taking part in a line up/identity parade. I wouldn’t be surprised to find Andy has arranged to be on a list of volunteers to occasionally pick up the price of a pint or two.

Andy’s identity parade is what they’d call a perp walk in New York.

Sound like a regular routine for Andy.

Whenever I’m in a police lineup, I never know whether to be relieved or insulted when the witnesses can’t pick me out from those OTHER jerks………

The real question is “was he picked?”

I follow Andy Capp on Facebook so I already saw this strip a couple of days ago and I have never heard of “identity parade” either.
