I just received a “personal” letter from Herr Drumpf saying his administration was going to do whatever necessary to help us out. I think “Whenever we feel like it” was the implied omission at the end of that letter…
Two-thirds of the deaths in MA have been in long term care facilities. The number in NY is very high, too, partly because of Como’s tragic mandate. Surprisingly, FLA did an excellent job from the outset to protect the elderly in long term care facilities so the infections and deaths from CCP virus have been relatively small. Not much main stream news coverage for that. Not that I’ve seen, anyway. Plenty of outrage and coverage over the spring break stuff (which killed sooo many of those partying college kids) or the allowing people to walk on the beach (They’re all dead, too). Would it have been an awful thing to have acted differently and cancel spring break and keep beaches closed longer? No, but they weren’t tragic decisions, like putting covid patients in nursing homes. Seems to me FLA got the big things right but got killed by the MSM while NY got some big things wrong that killed people and are being fawned over by much of the press.

So tired of feeling like I’m risking my life every time I go to the supermarket,
thanks Republicans!
