Snoopy starts licking the ball with a, “SLURP SLUP SLURP” <br> <br> Lucy turns back towards home plate with a grin and is holding the ball in her hand and glove getting ready to throw the ball. <br> <br> Lucy leans back with her arm and wet baseball in hand. <br> <br> Lucy follows through and throws the wet ball. <br> <br> The wet ball goes whirling through the air as Charlie Brown tries to hit the ball with no success. Right here, that’s where! This is where I learned of “rhubarb” as an expression for a baseball dispute. I did not know until recently that the roots (no pun intended) of this expression included some unfortunate bloodshed.https://www.quora.com/How-did-rhubarb-come-to-mean-what-it-does-in-baseball?share=1
