    It was typing that did mine in, as a little girl I have beautiful cursive hand writing spent hours practicing writing notes and such, then Junior high hit and learned to type and found how much faster it was.

    Now I can’t hardly write at all, my hand get tired.

    Prehistoric = before history

    Prescription = before writing

    Makes sense to me.

    When I was a phlebotomist in a hospital a nurse called me over to try and decipher a doc order. No could read what he wrote. The doc finally came round and guess what? He couldn’t read it either. Now that’s bad:-P

    Give him an extra Grande cup of Doc’s Nuclear Coffee and he’ll have plenty of shakes and jitters.

    My high school English teacher originally planned to be a doctor and practiced making his handwriting illegible. He was never able to make it legible again and it always took forever to figure out what the comments on my paper were supposed to say.
