There is a small company in Germany that makes a tube that gets placed in the ground. It has a gas mechanism that then lifts a rod out of the ground. You can place something like 18 bottles of beer around the rod. I am thinking of getting one for my garden. The beer stays cool due to the ground temperature.
If I had to bury something for the apocalypse, something that I knew I would need and that I could trade for other things I want, what would I bury? My first thought was money, but I’m not so sure now. With no stores who needs money. Perhaps canned food. No, that has an expiration date. I know! Toilet Paper!!

Great suggestion, Eno, though try to get Fang to dig deep enough for a 55 gallon drum of Scotch!

Not practical. Fang would just dig it up the next day. Unless Eno got to it first.

Can you bury the ‘Existing Occupant’? Just asking for a friend, a lot of friends, actually.
