Well, Rosa now owns the title, and Wallace owns Spud. Even with cartoon physics, I don’t think the ball has enough power to clear the backstop on the rebound.

And SPLAT! Spud has a bloody nose.

Spud just failed at dodge ball..!

Unintended consequences triumph once more!

Rose rules! You go, girl!

Poor spud.

Poor Spud. Maybe hit him is some sort or bonus.

Spud’s sense of impending doom has been justified.

And thus begins Wallace’s lifelong quest to outdo Rose.

I think spud needs to live in a bubble

I mostly follow this strip because I identify with Spud.

Spud, if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball. KLUNK!
