There are also good TV, stable supportive friends, and they already use you as an excuse to avoid the crazy friends and drugs. Don’t protect them from the good influences along with the bad.

I don’t know if anyone noticed, but the comic strips are about the last place you’ll find positive family and social values. Sure, sometimes there are strips that go a little too far, but compared against the track record, it’s the one media that I can let my kids read without fear.
