I don’t know why Bea was afraid of today’s strip, this is just pure humor and one of Sedine’s usual bad decisions, she could have picked literally anyone else in that retirement home, no the whole town, and gotten a better reaction.

The guy standing to the right of Sedine looks like a character from Dragon Ball Z series. The guy in panel 2 in the front left, or the far right of Sedine, that is standing in the foreground, looks like a Planet of the Apes character. And the crotchety old lady that slaps Sedine looks like a crotchety old lady…

So did Master Roshi pat her on the butt, or not?

Master Roshi is the only one of the “O.G.s” I recognized besides Mrs. Edith. I’m sure the others are character cameos from other works, but unfortunately, I’m not familiar with them.
