Messing with the laws of comic strip space-time comes with harsh consequences. However, I don’t think Forgetta has it in him to cross over to the Funky side.
Guess he wants to say “GOODBYE” to his friend. I had a Bad feeling about this yesterday. “The BIG C” took my wifes’ Dad, over 6 years ago….She is Still not over it.
@ RCMinor - Annie was originally an orphan at the hospital when we met her, so we can assume Liam might be as well, and therefore doesn’t have any “family.” Annie might be the closest thing he has to family. Also, Dr. Fine might realize that, even though they’re not blood related they’re very close like family and that this is going to have a VERY impact on a girl who is still dealing with her own illness. That shows a lot of care and concern.
@ JWF - What?!?!? You’re not being paid the big bucks for this?!!!?
@ Lila - I’m so happy to hear you say that about UGGS. whew I hate them too (although they make nice house slippers in the dead of winter, just don’t wear them anywhere else!)

That’s a kick to the stomach. I don’t think I want to see the next strip.

It’s her friend Liam (the one who texted her) that’s dying. That no worse than killing a red shirt ensign on Star Trek.

Oy, the pressure, Fer Lefer. You do realize I don’t make any money on this strip. Surely that should cut me a break ;-)

I thought creator’s of comic strips were paid for their work. I know you like your work why not get paid.

Kab. They are paid if they find someone who agrees to pay them.
John’s either waiting for his big break, or he’s creating comic strips for the sheer joy of doing it. Or both, more likely.

@ JWF, I also am surprised that you don’t make any money for this; you certainly deserve it. Hopefully things will start going better for you soon.
BTW - your storylines and the sensitive way you handle them make this a strip I read every day. Keep up mthe excellent work…
