Debate is a waste of time for three reasons. First, one side can win by framing the debate in their favor, regardless of whether they’re truthful. Second, debate assumes black and white solutions when life is full of shades of gray. Third, western culture reveres those who “stick to their beliefs,” not those who change their minds based on new evidence.
The only thing our fascist overlords care about is removing taxes and regulations. They are really good at it. The politicians are just there to distract us.
