The Badger is great! It claimed to have 3 restaurants and a movie theater. We sat in the movie theater the whole trip due to weather…a bunch of old airline seats and a 27 inch TV playing old rated G movies…so much fun! Someone actually shushed us for talking during the movie!
You’re a much bolder soul than I. I have never been on the water out of sight of land and never will be! The Staten Island Ferry and the Wall Street to Rockaway Beach ferry line are the limit for me. (I’ll get on a jet and fly nonstop to Europe. Go figure, huh?)
When I was a kid, we lived in Lakewood O. went out in Lake Erie on a dinky outboard, out of sight of land. It was really cool then, Now all I can think of is what were we thinking

Don’t you live in North Dakota? Did I miss something? Or did you go to Minneapolis by way of Iowa and Wisconsin and then back to Minneapolis?

The last panel is us atop the ferry, looking out onto Lake Michigan – hence, the wind-blown hair. Wind really does a number on the ol’ hair bun.

Radish is so envious and a little jealous that he didn’t get to go on that boat. He would have loved meeting both of you.
