Televisions in the 60’s and 70’s did not have remotes! We had to get up and change the channel! My first remote had a long cable. The rabbit ears are correct. ;-)
I found out my remote also worked on my buddy’s TV. So we’d walk over and stand near their living room window while he and his wife were watching a movie of course we change it to the baseball game or something. Finally I guess we laughed too loud and they figured out what we were doing. Hilarity ensued.

Somehow that remote looks out of place, since its from the 60s to early 70s.

But in those days, Red would have been the remote.

Do yourself a favor Red, forget TV. It numbs the mind.

But I don’t think they had closed captioning back then.

I’m not sure if those old ultrasonic remotes could work through a window.
I remember the tags jingling from a friend’s dog would change the channel if it walked in front of the TV.

Mom’s right. Rest from TV is good for growing boys and dogs! Take care, little ones!
