Re the side comment, I could use that as a crossword puzzle theme (I’m a crossword puzzle constructor) if I’m allowed to re-phrase it as follows:
“If you want to stop
repeat offenders,
don’t re-elect them."
This way, it breaks down symmetrical as three 15-letter entries. How about it Mr. Chatfield? May I have your permission to use it that way?
