Today seems to be tribute day in strip world. See if you can find the mask (medical workers and caregivers), steering wheel (delivery people and, mail carriers), shopping cart (grocery workers), apple (teachers), fork (restaurants and essential businesses) and microscope (medical researchers) in other strips as well.
Love the “find the thing” activity. In these most unusual times, it might be very helpful to parents of young children if there were several, or many, Sunday comics offering this activity. You might publish the list on a website so as to not take up too much room on your art panels. Just an idea. Thanks
My heart breaks for my southern neighbour(s)…it’s bad enough to have this horrible pandemic globally, but the tensions/marches in your country are heart rending and truly frightening. We have our problems as well, in Canada (& it’s terrible in Quebec – our premier won’t acknowledge it). Perhaps because we are a smaller country, it is not given much publicity. We do have it (racism/violence) regardless. As a Canadian, I don’t often publicly comment on politics, particularly on this forum….It is not for me to say, but Sorry…(the Canadian anthem), I pray for the World…it is “Time” to go – see https://www.thequint.com/news/webqoof/time-to-go-magazine-cover-showing-donald-trump-is-not-authentic-fact-checkTake care of one another and hug your beautiful, loving 4 legged beasties. (Apologies, if I’ve offended anyone; especially you, Brian for allowing me to comment on your wonderful strip).Your Sunday ones are always the bestest.
I have followed this comic for quite a while but never wrote a comment until now. As an essential worker, in the ER (I actually read this in between patients) and in teaching, I would like to thank you and all of the cartoonists who took part in the National Cartoonists Society challenge to use the symbols in their comics today (well, yesterday, since I’m writing this on Monday).

And to those who aren’t aware, yes, several cartoonists are paying tribute today to the essential workers.
