I’ve never understood why it’s not okay to swear. I understand the “taking his name in vain” but if you’re not using his name, I don’t see the harm. The only swearing I have a problem with is if it’s being directed at someone in anger like calling someone a bad word. But cussing when you make a mistake, cussing when you stub your toe, cussing in general convo has never offended me.

I never was one for swearing, and didn’t appreciate it in others. Needless to say, I never played golf.
