Does Mom have a mustache? Or is that just her chubby smile?
I remember a comic strip from years ago:
Panel 1 = sign outside diner reads “Mom’s Home Cooking”.
Panel 2 = diner complaining, “This food is horrible. It tastes nothing like what a mother would make.”
Panel 3 = burley guy in greasy apron behind the counter explains, “Yah, we do what we can here. Mom is at home, cooking.”
What that old adage about never playing cards with a guy named Doc, or eating at a place called Moms?
I don’t get it. Is it supposed to be funny because the dog writes to Guy about a restaurant but doesn’t bother to provide the address?
