I don’t have a smartphone (eyes aren’t good enough for the small screen); have a desktop instead of a laptop, and bought a tablet but can’t figure out how to use it. But I have shelves and shelves of books…
We have shelves and shelves of books, most have never been read.
Wanna fill your shelves with 5000+ VHS videos , I’ll let you have them
We have a lot of books and a lot of blurays and dvds. I refuse to use an ebook, I love real ones :)
When I finish reading an e-book like that I don’t have to store it so I can read it latter. Always available in the cloud to reread.
Brutus would be an embarrassment if PBS interviewed him at home on Skype.
OH THORNY
I hate to be the practical one, but why do you have to get rid of the books and stuff? It’s not like you’re using the shelves for anything else.
I’m sorry, I lied – I have no problem being the practical one.
I read my first Star Trek novel on my nook. No more paperbacks.
Everywhere you turn, it’s empty space, eh, Thorny?
Ray Bradbury said the first thing he did with a new book was to smell it. Me too. I get some odd looks at Vroman’s, but so be it.
The libraries are doing COVID-19 , with safety precautions.
The upside to keeping physical copies of those old movies and books is no one can make them disappear on a whim
