If it’s one of those old cars, it’s built to last and doesn’t need to be replaced.;D

They don’t make cars like they used to!!!

Ralph should reply: “If I bought a new car, I would put you out of business!”

No mechanic would ever say that.

Most car manufacturers have “built in obsolescence” . Cars have to wear out. If they lasted forever you would never need a new one, so sales would plummet. Car makers need sales to survive.

An old car is a gold mine for a mechanic.

Tell the mechanic, if he did a better job of mechanic-ing, his dad wouldn’t be needing to.

For safety features alone, they are better today. But often it’s not the bolt under the hood, it’s the nut behind the wheel that’s the problem. ;-)

But that Yugo is a classic.

It is almost an impossible job to work on some of the new vehicles. Dodge Promaster, they have to take the whole front end off if they need to do almost any replacement of parts.
