Would require too much thought to get into why rural hospitals are strapped. Medicare regs and Obamacare have been a problem them throw in the stupidity surrounding Covid.
If Mr. Pillsbury needs a money based reason, point out that if the small hospitals close, they won’t be able to buy any of his products anymore. Permanent loss of a large customer, who refers!

My understanding is that drug companies do quietly donate drugs, mostly through relief orgs like the Red Cross, Americares, and MAP International.
