Brings back fond memories of my German mother-in-law, whose pork and saurkraut was delicious. But of course you first had to endure a full day of the odor. First cooking the cabbage, followed by the saurkraut.
They formed a glee club and beat him over the head with it!

A good kimchi or saurkraut almost covers up the taste.
Someone was starving enough to try the compost heap, to think cabbage was edible in the first place. Corned beef ain’t enough, turkey sausage kind of works.

At least it won’t make your pee smell bad like aspargus does.

I love cabbage. Cabbage goes best with corned beef. Had it last night I can never get enough.

Try it as saurkraut. With or without the hot dog.

I don’t know why you’d cook cabbage anyway. It tastes better (and doesn’t stink) raw in a salad. Probably more nutritious too.

Well, if you want to talk saurkraut, then my choice would be pigs knuckles with saurkraut & boiled potato..
But I still love corned beef & cabbage. Both dishes require plenty of hot mustard on hand.
