I’m idly wondering how many in the peanut gallery will get today’s punchline?
Version control humor. This may be the first time my profession has been the subject of a mainstream comic strip.
My MGB has a manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch. Does the fact that my car has a master cylinder and slave cylinder mean my car is racist?
In the late 90s/early 00s, there was a bit of a fuss about computer drives being called master/slave. I suggested we use dominant/submissive. No one likes my suggestions.

The only ‘woodpile’ that comes to mind is the one adults always threatened to take you behind and whup your heinie.
