This one is hard to figure out. As in, if Raquel is still “not talking” to Carmen, then why send even a blank e-mail?
This can only be funny IF Raquel meant to send an e-mail, possibly hitting “send” before typing the message (I’ve done that a few times) and Carmen simply assumed the blank messages was meant to be a snub.
As for me, right now, I’m just using this strip for help learning Spanish.
Can’t say that it’s been all that funny in the two weeks since I started it.
Though, my take on “muñeca” yesterday, before double checking it in a dictionary, made the Spanish version kind of funny: Carmen needs pills for her doll? (I actually laughed at that one)
