Breezy: “A fair question, and one that has been much on my mind of late.”
(I stole that line, or its first cousin, from a Monty Python sketch, or its second cousin, wherein a reporter was asking a local why the sheep in the local’s village had suddenly begun grazing up in the trees.)
Breezy COULD reply that there are OTHER things that make up for Rip’s seeming lack of intelligence. But, she doesn’t want to give Lexy ideas. Bad enough Cobra still likes to try and get involved with Rip on that level.

He should have just brought Breezy with him, like the old days.

Lexy: “How do you live with that?”

I wouldn’t trust him, Lexy. I think you should test his silly alligator theory before dumping Breezy in the swamp.

Hopefully now, Breezy will realize how horrible her cousin is and stop trying to reform her.
