Forgive this city girl, is he supposed to do this?

I am going on 76 years old and I still think of her …., when dozing off to sleep…..

I had thought that the rows of chaff were laid out in a way that promoted drainage. The farmer not wanting any rot to set in. Since they make money not only on the grain but also on the chaff. Farmers try to leave as little as possible to waste.

Only thing I recall about farm was never to follow cow back to barn when you are barefoot.

Will it fly high like a bird up in the sky?

Isn’t the case the girl was in car accident? That’s why she didn’t write him back.

Lynn’s Comments:

I allowed my letter problem to ruin some otherwise great days. Looking back, I wish I’d enjoyed the wonderful time I was having—or should have been having!

The summer I worked on a farm in Indiana I was not allowed near the combine. That was back in the 70’s and the machine cost nearly $100K. I was assigned to the mower and the honey wagon – machines less expensive and less likely to break.

And the circles keep getting smaller and smaller. (Not sure if that has anything to do with love…)

Farming can make you a bit philosophical.

…and gives you something to chew on later. :)
