Actually Will P., painting upside down may work better for those of us who are artistically challenged. I think the book, “Painting on the Right Side of Your Brain” (or something like that) suggested something along that line. Do something so your cognitive left side brain can get out of the way and allow the creative right side get a thought in.

Yes, you have the book’s title right, and I used to own it (not that I had the time to use it, and it got lost when I left a whole box full of paperbacks behind in my move out here).

Well, comixavier, according to one of the Garfield anthologies, Jon gave up his cartoonist career to “play straight man” to Garfield. That’s a job and a half, I’d say.
i’m also curious how so many of you managed to flip your text. Very cool.
