Ha! Went on a camping trip with a bunch of families from our church…we had “garbage can dinner.”
It really is a lot of fun- you take a new, clean metal can, put a little wood platform in the bottom, shuck a bunch of corn and put the husks in the can for a bed, then put in alternating layers of corn, carrots, potatoes, onions, maybe other veggies, and sausages, like Ukrainian farmer sausage. Place the can on top of a hot campfire for a few hours, then dig in! It’s great!
