One way or another, Katie is getting a pony

When you get our age you’ll have a better idea what that expression means.

I’ve thought over the years that someone should create a play pony that acts like the old “Betsy Wetsy” doll. Requiring the child to care for it like a real pony AND clean up after it. Of course nothing cures the “wanting a pony” phase like taking them to a real ranch and letting them take care of a real one….

He’s a good good dad.

Here’s the thing, Katie. He may not always be the best with words (which can be problematic for a writer), but you’ve got a pretty awesome dad there.
