I found the older I get the more I have to alter my diet. at 70 no medicines, no replacement parts but I can’t eat a whole pizza and a pitcher of beer.. a few slices and a pint is enough now.
One doctor I had gave me the advice that you should never go down any food aisles but just shop the perimeter of the store. That way you are most likely to avoid processed, overly salty, nutrition poor, “make a cardiologist faint” foods. There are a few exceptions to the rule of course and you can’t do much about end caps full of yummy treats but for the most part it works :)

I did the shopping, so I got 2 boxes of cookies, a box of chocolate covered doughnuts, and strawberry ice cream.
