My dad and I always enjoyed the Sundays with this up and down bunch. The paper never carried the other days. I’m glad all is available online nowadays. As in time past I am glad people are carrying them forward. For fact Brutus is a character of his own, but I think sometimes his wife does forget the time and stress he expends trying to stand up to his boss without needlessly going too far. Unfortunately like all of us he sometimes falls into the trap all the same with her, the boss, ….. Now and then she or one of the kids seems to know he needs a bounce to get him off the point and notice the rest of the world.
