Hmmm. Each of us votes for the candidate who we believe is going to do the most for us personally: in essence, that candidate would pay us for our vote AFTER the election; morally speaking, is that any different than a candidate paying us for our vote BEFORE the election…?
Many may vote as you describe. I hope it isn’t the majority. I vote for the candidates I consider as ones who will do the most good for the local, and national offices they hold.
