Man: Wow. This furniture store is overstocked again. And they're cutting prices dramatically. This is like the 50th time this year. Woman: Instead of having a sale, wouldn't you think they'd just find out who keeps overordering and fire their butt?
Yeah, and while youâre at it ask why they keep going out of business and another furniture store with a different name reopens in the same spot!!!!!!!
âŠor find out whoâs buying really ugly stuff that nobody wants in the first place and fire his/her butt. Landâs End has seasons like that; you canât find one attractive piece in decent colors. Who thinks that people want to wear neon orange or lime green or royal blue or any âhot/warmâ colors. Same goes for furniture.
The perpetually going-out-of-business store is illegal in Ohio now. Too many were using the ploy to get out of honoring warranties. I expect the current Repug gov to try to reverse that too.
There was a furniture store where I grew up with a big sign, âWe have not had a sale in 40 yearsâ or some such. I could never figure out how they stayed in business.
