Just get out of the way. People do not want help, they just want to be left alone. No corporate tax breaks. No burdensome regulations.

to keep it simple it’s the Sheriff of Nottingham Code:

rob from the poor , give to the rich

now, who couldn’t be for that?…just think of all those jobs that will be created when we do that and this time it will happen FOR SURE.

    swear to god

I agree wolf. What did you make this year? Send in 15%. No deductions, no loopholes. Rich, poor, business, everyone pays the same percentage. But if the I.R.S. doesn’t get eliminated in the process, it will end up being a VAT like they have in Europe.

Ah Nighthawks, who would be Robin Hood? The media would crucify him for such acts of social justice. Though I think they would support John Cleese’s portrayal in “Time Bandits” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=167IhlXnN2Y&feature=related

wolfhound, glad you don’t want help. I don’t need it either. But there are many who not only want it but need it desperately.

As for regulations, you bet I want them. I don’t trust any corporation as far as I can throw it. They have as their primary priority only making as much money as possible at any cost - to the environment, to the health of their employees, to the safety of their customers. And forget about quality. Regulations keep the corporations from scre*wing us over entirely. They may be a burden to the corporation, but they’ll still make their fortunes. Meanwhile, those regulations make life better for the country.

It IS important to realize that Greenspan was LITERALLY one of Rand’s best buds, and the social and economic disaster he brought on WAS based on her “theories”. Even he now says eliminate the “Bush cuts”– with one foot in the grave, he’s finally seeing the light???

^If the government is taken over by people who think it serves no one guess how that government is gonna operate? The founders fought a tyrannical government to set up one that cares for the people. To have you guys come out and say it wants servitude means you obviously don’t believe in their version of government.

And the corporations do not care about you. If you are useful they will take you on board. That’s the nature of a business. They only want to interact with you if you have some skill set they need. Otherwise you’re dead weight.
