Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
@dfowensby: One of the founders of The Huffington Post, now being sued by a disgruntled blogger who thinks that because AOL bought the site, people who previously agreed to blog for free should get a slice of the pie.
Darkeforce, do that and you’ll see very few cases filed against the side that can afford the top lawyers. You’d do better to make it possible for the defendant to sue to recover costs if a judge rules that a case is frivolous.
I used to have a deal like that. A car salesman that I dealt with would loan me his demo for a week every year just to drive around, race and show off. Now if I had 52 dealers doing the same………………
Tort reform: corporations can sue anyone, but corporations can only be sued by other corporations. In Texas, it is a death penalty for multiple murders or for murder for profit, but multiple murder for profit gets you Businessman of the Year.
Flower, Northern Exposure was the best. Great characters and writing…
Arianna used to be a conservative. Al Franken turned her. Anybody remember who she was married too?
^^ Richard, great idea, the problem is it would actually require a much larger banner than “Mission accomplished”, driving suit just wouldn’t handle it.
She bought fame with the divorce settlement after hubby proved that buying elections sometimes doesn’t work if you’re too blatant about it. The trophy wife has grown up. As with “The Donald,” why does anyone listen?
@freeholder1: everyone who blogged for her knew what they were getting into. That she was able to do with it what she did is no reason to renegotiate past agreements.
That’s what they get for cheapening themselves and the craft. The only group of writers I find more disgusting than these volunteer professionals, are the poorly paid “content” providers willing to work for pennies to write crufty advertising copy.

I either get a discount for having the dealer logo on the car, or insist they remove it.

This is exactly what people who want to use cartoonists work for free say…”We can’t pay you, but you’ll get the exposure.”
Yeah, I’m sure everyone in the world is tuning into your facebook page.
If I want exposure, I’ll go sun bathing at a nudie beach.

With the cost of gasoline the way it is, it would be cheaper to buy the car than pay for the drive around gasoline

Just because someone doesn’t win a lawsuit, doesn’t make it frivolous.
