I was at an air show at MacDill AFB Tampa. They had the Golden Knights Parachute Team do a demonstration jump. One guy, while coming down, released himself from his first chute. He dropped again, and then, closer to the ground, opened his reserve chute. The released chute was in a bundle and coming down quickly. It was probably a 1/2 mile away but drifting toward the crowd. I wondered where it would come down. It was coming closer and closer. The next thing knew it came crashing down on me before I could get out of the way. I thought I had time to move, but it’s decent was deceptively fast. The buckles and hardware put a knot on my head.

Is it just me, or have he Gray comics been shrinking? I’m starting to struggle to read them.
