I always get an “open” MRI because I am claustrophobic.

Eye mask. Ear plugs. Xanax. The worst are the brain ones. I have to mask up before I see that cage coming at me. Nope. Yuck.

If it is a Brain MRI you do it twice once without contrast and then they inject some dye in your bloodstream and do it a second time
