Wait till she’s a few years older, then introduce her to the only reason |God created the coffee bean. Whipped cream, brown sugar, and Irish Whiskey make coffee quite palatable.
In the 18th century when one went to a coffee house one could get coffee, tea and hot chocolate plus food. Hot chocolate in the period was different than our cocoa or hot chocolate now. It was a spicy drink of chocolate made from unsweetened chocolate.
When last we were at Colonial Williamsburg one could have a free sample of any of the three at the coffee house in the restoration as part of the tour of the building. Mars (as in Mars chocolate bars) now has a line of historic chocolate including same.
