“Now that I’m on television, I’m different from everybody else! I’m famous! Important!” Uh huh. Just like the Kardashians.

It has occurred to me that it’s better for Calvin to experience TV in this way than as a passive viewer of it.;D

That screen is getting to small for his head.

Six days ago, a commentator called GreggW compared Calvin to Ralph Phillips and said “I think there were only two Looney Tune cartoons with him in”. I confirmed that there were only two Looney Tune cartoons in the official series with Ralph but added that he also appeared in two army recruitment advertising cartoons and a compilation called “The Adventures of the Roadrunner” which later formed two Roadrunner cartoons.

GreggW thanked me for this and asked where I got the info. I replied that it was from a book called “Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies” which I bought over thirty years ago and later donated to a charity shop. GreggW didn’t reply to that so I am repeating this in case he or she wasn’t aware of my reply.

And that’s how the Kardashians started…

Little does Calvin realise that his imagine will be used to piddle on product logos instead.

The fact that I can throw a ball through a hoop, catch a ball thrown at me, act like someone that I am not, or have a billion dollars also gives me the right to tell you how to live or determine your moral compass.

Amazing how Bill was able to see the future.

Has tRump ruined Calvin & Hobbes for me? Now all I can think of is “Boy that kid needs some Ritalin before he becomes a real menace to society”.

Just like hollywood. Too bad those people don’t realize that we really don’t care what they think.

I got on TV once when I was six years old. Did I get famous? Hmmm…

Considering what Mr Watterson thought about products based on popular media [especially cartoons] – this is really funny. Is this a subtle dig?

It seems to me that most who achieve fame though Media presence do it by being a gigantic fool doing really silly things.

He fits right in.

So what’s Calvin going to endorse? Reverse mortgages, gold, Nugenix……..

He could pitch pickup truck decals for the back of Chevy owners who hate Fords and visa versa…
