Ahhhhh, memories of Ocean City & Wildwood swimming! Not to mention the boadwalks stuff, the food!
On the Oregon Coast beaches you might not want to do that. In recent years there are many more jellyfish washing up on the shore and in the waves close to shore. Those things are painful if you even touch a dead one.
