Maybe go for twenty pounds. When you reach that goal, try for another twenty. Then see if you need to lose more. You probably will, but by that point you’ll know that it’s possible.
Whatever your strategy, though, it has to be something you actually want to do. You need to want it more than you want the things which are keeping you fat.

New Year resolutions are silly. It’s completely arbitrary to use Jan 1 as a basis to resolve to do something.
