    Game worn jerseys are laundered after the game, before they are put on the market or are acquired by the player. Unless it had been signed and the signature damaged, his washing it shouldn’t impact its value. A game worn Jersey that had been unwashed for years would be mighty funky. Mold, mildew, or whatever would have damaged it besides.

    Next time demand money. Giving you the jersey didn’t cost him anything. If you were a professional mechanic, Marcus wouldn’t have tried to get away with that.
