sadly as of 2020, there are no county fairs (but at least my step-family had a make-shift one two weeks ago)
The trebuchet theme catapaulted itself from Frazz yesterday to Cul de Sac today.
Wow! There really is a trebuchet. I was beginning to think that the brothers and the trebuchet was all in his imagination.

That should have gotten the china cabinet into the city pool.
What would a State/County Fair be without the Ancient War Machine compitition? “Quit yer Boo Hoo Mooin’, Bossie! Someone’s category had to go!”
I’d like to meet his brothers. It’d be nice to know how they paid for all that huge lumber.
Please send the plans to me. I have WAAAY too much time on my hands these days.
My kids and I built them out of LEGO. Took some engineering and a rubber band to make a weight pocket that didn’t disassemble itself.
My HOA said I can’t build one. I’m thinking a second amendment suit is in order.
My trebuchet is built to one quarter scale. It’s good for flinging cats.
Sniff. Sadly our county fairs never had an Ancient War Machines contest – I feel cheated…
Wow! That is one big trebuchet, especially for a little subdivision like Cul de Sac. I wonder where The Brothers Wedekind got all the lumber and the space to assemble it?
How does your family enjoy eating off the floor, Dill?
